I've been having bowel issues for the past few years and my doctor suspects I have crohn's.. I'm not totally convinced.
I usually go to the bathroom once or twice a day, it is always pale (orange, yellowish), mushy, loose and clearly not fully digested. I struggle to hold my weight and don't feel in good health.
I don't get pain, cramping or diarrhea (the classic symptoms). So I wanted to ask if you could shed light on this. My doctor thinks I'm in remission but why would I have gut problems if there is no active disease?
Poop is a taboo subject and not talked about, I have no idea if what i'm experiencing is normal for a crohn's patient.

It is my understanding that the only way crohns can be diagnosed is thru a colonoscopy/endoscopy when you have a flare or lesion that can be biopsied. Looking back i must have had crohns for years, but until my iron was low and I had those tests, I would have never known about my crohns. I was diagnosed at the age of 63, but looking back it must have been. The yellow/orange stools can be a sign of gall bladder. That can be tested easily by ultrasound. i highly recommend it. I had my gall bladder removed after severe chest pains (luckily it was not my heart). Check it out.

You might check your blood for signs of anemia. You could be passing blood and nor realizing it
