Help

Hello thanks for all everyone time to read and advice

I’m dealing with a small lump swollen vein near anus that time to time if pressed on has discharged or sometimes on toilet paper
however it may seem like I have had this for many years just never really did anything since it didn’t bother me . There is no pain associated with it what so ever just sometimes drainage. I’m wondering has anyone had anal fistula left untreated for years ? If it doesn’t cause problems ? What is your experience . I heard you can get sepsis from it so I’m scared please I appreciate all responses

I just read that sepsis is caused by infection in the body.  Your fistula will not cause sepsis but it could become a breeding place for infection.  Best bet, share your concerns with your doctor.
