Hi, I often feel very lightheaded/dizzy, and sometimes it is accompanied by extreme weakness. I have UC, and am currently on Remicade. I am doing well as far as my bowel symptoms. I am not anemic, as I take iron supplements and all looks good in my bloodwork. Doctors have not been able to find why I feel this way (I have been to cardiologist, neurologist, and ENT, apart from my PC physician and my gastroenterologist). Does anyone else feel this way? I am beggining to spiral and feel very depressed about feeling this way so often.

Hi. I was light-headed and weak the week before I ended up in the hospital even though I was taking iron pills. Mine got worse...more bloody stools led to dehydration, throwing up, and fainting. Make sure you're staying very hydrated. That's the only other thing I can think of if you aren't bleeding and check blood pressure. Mine always runs low so that can be a problem. Good luck!

Hi - sorry to hear about your struggles. Have you considered you may have low blood pressure? Im recently diagnosed with anemia and Crohns (within the last couple of months or so) and aften get light headed when I stand up quickly or bend over however I've always (for many years) had slightly low blood pressure and felt dizzy upon standing so it could be something unrelated (like low blood pressure etc). I noticed when the anemia hit, the dizzyness got worse and disturbed me more (i.e. I worried about it more).
Hope that helps
