HELP! Having Hot Flashes/Sweats? For first time while on antibiotics for infection. On Stelara; usually freezing

Sat, September 28, 2019 10:29 PM

New to the group. I am on Stelara for Crohn's and just started antibiotic on Thursday for a bladder infection. Feeling like I am having hot flash-type symptoms but I don't have a fever because Stelara masks my symptoms/I don't get them. Anyone ever go through this? Where you don't have a fever during infection (and are usually freezing) but still get hot flashes, sweats? Thanks.

Hi, steph I had just began my stelara treatment for ulcerative colitis. I experienced that I was cold, too. Also, I have been diagnosed with anemia that I often feel cold sometimes.

Hello! I started with a dry cough, headaches, night sweats and just all over shakey feeling. I was put on an antibiotic but still 4 days later can barely get out of bed. My doctor is now testing for other things since I had a bad spider/tick bite in September. They don't think it's bronchitis or the flu. It's just odd since I'm so down and out. Anybody experience these feeling while on Humira? Could it be because of that my body isn't responding? New to the forum! Hi everyone! Thanks, Lauren
