Since 2010

Hello I just joined this community today. Not quite sure I wish to accomplish but writing this but just want to be heard I suppose. I'm currently 34 years old and reside in Las Vegas. I enjoy bodybuilding with my father, play video games as much as I can, and live with my wife Jonella. I'm also a Correctional Officer for the state prison system for the last 8 years. Back in 2010 I went to the doctor due to rectal bleeding.Ok no big deal. Went and got the finger check. "Hemorrhoids" "Heres some cream and suppositories" he said. Month later......more bleeding. Second visit "Schedule a Colonoscopy". So after the procedure I had polyps taken out and found out I have Ulcerative colitis in my large intestine. So here comes the Asacol. Took the Asacol and symptoms went away until 2012. Then after that it comes back with a vengeance. OK now a higher dosage of Asacol. Cool now it went away again until 2014. Rise and repeat. Colonoscopy after Colonoscopy and more and more Asacol with some Pentasa suppositories. This goes from 2014 until 2016. One more Colonoscopy, Endoscopy, and a scan to rule out Crohns. No Crohns but severe Proctitis almost going into the small intestine. More medicine. 2017....... the worst it has gotten and getting dizzy after bowel movements. Doctor says another Colonoscopy........no more man I can't afford it and it seems pointless. Nothing has changed but the prescription getting higher in milligrams, two rounds of Prednisone, and me still bleeding. Got to find an alternative because I think the medicine is just masking my problem. (I also cannot afford the other meds out which I'll explain later.)So after that I seek natural treatment. I seek out a naturopathic doctor here in Vegas. I go to her and she immediately has me run blood work and stool tests. Why didn't I do these before? Ok get the tests done and I find out I got some critters / parasites inside of my gut. Ok so I get the script and eliminate those. Symptoms reside a bit and I feel better and better along with what the social norm would call "Finger snap" medicine (Homeopathic medicine) and new diet plan that she gave me. Expensive and not covered by insurance but I had to try something and it worked!. So fast forward and I'm ok until recently October 2019. Go in to see her and just took another Blood test and this time a food sensitivity test as well, and waiting results. Blood is back more than ever had bright blood and clotting and due to the log of photos I took she said it seems like I have some blockage so we need a colonoscopy to get in and see whats going on since 2016. Well I'm not going back to my old doctor to get the colonoscopy so I seeked out a new one. Now I'm waiting until the end of February is the soonest I can get in. I'm freaking out because no matter how strict my diet is and what I do doesn't seem to help. I know I need to relax and wait until I get my colonoscopy but I just can't and I know that makes it worse. Google doesn't help either reading the worst of the worst.I currently do Castor Oil packs every night for 2 hours and that seems to keep the regularity going. I also have golden milk, strict paleo diet, deep breathing, yoga, Inflammatone, Magnesium Citrate, and some of the homeopathic liquids twice a day. This seems to have been the best effect since I been seeing her. The Asacol that I took always made me have to use the restroom constantly and made my stomach upset. I wonder if it made things worse and I think I built up an immunity to it. Also not to mention that medicine with my insurance was 927.00 for one month supply.........I had my old doctor send my script to Canada and pay 5 to 6 hundred for 3 months at a time instead. I don't know how I was able to afford it for 6 years. Then the mention of Humira came up and was excited to try it until I found out it was 1000.00 a shot and I needed six of them.Guess I'm
