Recently Ive started getting treatment again for my Crohns because I finally got insurance that I thought would help offset costs for meds and surgery. But apparently it does not and bills are starting to rack up because my specialist wants to do a bunch of tests, CT scans, and start new medications all of which my insurance doesnt fully cover and Im starting to go into debt. Its starting to take a very big mental toll and Im contemplating about stopping treatment again. Ive looked into a bunch of different programs been denied for a bunch and just figured I would reach out and see if someone might know something that I can possibly try. On the work topic Ive been really debating about quitting because a lot of the things I have to do our very physically taxing and they really arent very supportive of me taking a bunch of time off. Any experiences or what to do and this kind of situation would help sorry if Im not being very descriptive Im just not used to using forums for this. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

We are sorry to hear about the financial hardship you are facing, along with finding ways to manage the costs of the treatment. Obtaining financial assistance to cover healthcare costs can be challenging for those who need it most. Our website highlights the following resources to help you explore your health insurance options and apply for programs to help cover your copays and treatments.
I also have additional resources I would be happy to provide. Please feel free to email the community email address.
