Caregivers in Albuquerque

Fri, May 22, 2020 8:53 AM

I am a UC patient moving to Albuquerque in August.  I am looking for recommendations from the community for a GI.  Does anyone have a GI that they've really enjoyed working with (a strange qualification given the nature of this disease, I know)?  My UC was in remission for a about a year and a half on 6 MP (100 mg/day) and mesalamine. Unfortunately, I've been having bad flare-ups since my doctor lowered my dose of 6 MP, and I am in the process of figuring out a new therapy regimen.  So, my new doctor may have to help finish that process, in addition to generally monitoring my treatment.  One factor that is important to me is responsiveness.  My flares have been swift and severe, so I need a caretaker who is accessible and willing to take quick action.  Thanks in advance for any recommendations!
