Stretch Mark Cream that works??

Mon, September 19, 2011 9:05 AM

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good Stretch Mark Cream that can reduce the redness and depth of the marks? Should I take her to a dermatologist? My 13 year old daughter was diagnosed with Crohns in July. She is tapering off prednisone but she has rapidly gained weight ( great thing!!) but the side effects are really effecting her self esteem. Bad stretch marks on her hips and upper thighs and she's also dealing with facial hair - I'm guessing from the prednisone? Any tips on that as well? Thanks!!

If you notice that your skin looks duller or has lost some of its elasticity, that could be an indication that it's time for a change. Likewise, if you start noticing more pimples or blackheads appearing, that's another sign that something needs to be done about it, I prefer you to use doctor led skincare for best results. Another thing worth considering is whether your skin is simply taking longer than usual to recover from the stress of everyday life (for example, when you've been working hard or exercising). If this is the case, then there may be no reason why you should worry too much about what you put on it — just take care of it as best as possible and let time take care of the rest!

It is used to naturally make the skin look younger, smoother, and  healthier. But before considering it, you should better talk to the skin specialist or dermatologist and let him/her know about your skin. There are many skin specialist in Dubai who can give you treatment but while choosing right doctor for you, take time and do research always choose experience surgeons for skin treatment. I strongly recommend Eden Derma Clinic because they have most experienced practitioners in ace stretch marks such Botox treatment

yeah, stretch marks look weird at first look because of giving birth to a baby. It' s sometimes very difficult to get rid of them quickly, as when I was pregnant, I was using many stretch mark removal creams, I purchased products online but no product was able to remove my single stretch mark. I've used then pregnancy belly cream from The Spoiled Mama, as one of my friend suggest me to use this. OMG, I've been receiving great results and I've also used their skincare products.

There are stretch mark creams that are available over the counter, but I don't think they are that effective.  I would make an appt w/dermatologist.   My little one had received stitches on her chin when she was 3 and she was prescribed a cream and it worked.......there is no sign whatsoever.  The facial hair is also a "lovely" side effect from the steroids, thankfully it will let up once the steroids are stopped.  In the meantime, the dermatologist may prescribe a cream for that too.  One in particular is Vaniqua.  If she has dark hair, maybe simply bleaching or waxing would help.
