When you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, it is common to have many questions.   Many people with Crohn’s Disease lead normal lives.   Things get better once patients are on a treatment to manage their disease.
Crohn’s disease affects everyone differently.  However, we do have a variety of helpful resources designed to answer many of your questions:

Publications

We have a Guide for Teens that may be helpful for her to review at: http://www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org/assets/pdfs/teenguide.pdf .   We also have a teen website at: http://www.justlikemeibd.org/
If you have more specific questions, please email the Help Center at info@crohnscolitisfoundation.org.
