Mon, November 05, 2018 8:44 AM

Hi ive been diagnosed with ultrative collitus after a saver flare up 4 months ago still ongoing . My syptons seem to be worse at night / when lying down does anyone else suffer with this ?? I'm up during the night every 2 hours rushing to the toilet were it seems I need to get rid of wind but seems to be more bloody diarea . It seems to be if i fart in the night then straight after that i need to rush to the toilet . But during the day the symtoms seem to fade and i wont go to the toilet till afternoon and it will be a 'normal ' poo . just wondering if it's something in eating or the meds ect that's upsetting me whilst lying down . And if anyone else suffers like this . Thankyou being new to this I just want it to clear up then I can get on with my life as as you all know it can be scary especially as I don't know anyone with this problem so unsure as what good to avoid ect . Thankyou :)

I’ve had that problem from time to time.  Go to the bathroom and no sooner get back in bed when my body saye hay, gotta go again!  I started marking how many times I had to go at night,  7-10 was common
.i think 14 was the most.
check you blood, if you’re passing a lot you may end up anemic
