But old to having colitis. I'm 64 years old. I was diagnosed in the late 70s with ulcerative colitis. I suffered for 20 years and found gluten was a big contribution but not the root cause. I've been hospitalized three times for colitis. Every time I picked up something heavy, my colitis would become inflamed. I finally figured out discs in my back and neck we're getting crushed and cutting off nerves to my colon. I cannot pick up anything over 20 lb or my colitis starts flaring up. I've been dealing with this over 40 years. Blessings Stan
