I am planning on moving to China for a year to teach English.
I have found some infusion centers but I have been told that public insurance does not pay for Remicade and that I would have to pay out of pocket.
Has anyone had a similar issue? Any idea if an international school would potentially have better insurance? Or does anyone know of any international insurance companies that cover Remicade? (the ones I have reached out to do not).
Thanks everyone

This is an old thread but how did it go for you? I'm supposed to be moving to China in just over a month to teach ESL and my GI wants to start me on remicade now.

That's a whole other dynamic, thanks for pointing that out. I have heard there is an Indian company that makes a knock off Remicade for cheaper, no idea if its good / safe though.
First I'll see about the insurance side of it, then I'll look into that for sure.

Wow. Remicade is hugely expensive, and I’d be suspicious of the authenticity of any I got in China
