I just want to ask if some of you has heard this kind of shroom called Psilocybe Cubensis? I was reading some articles about this kind shrooms before engaging my self for the first time. Like this one from https://www.trufflemagic.com/blog/psilocybe-cubensis-ultimate-guide/ .They say that it has a very potent effect on the brain and hallucination. Unlike other shrooms this one is less intense. In one article that I've read Psilocybe Caerulipes influences the prefontral cortex thats responsible for for differentiating thoughts, consequences of actions, and social control. Magic mushroom are use on reducing the symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety. It can also help people to quit smoking and alcohol addiction. Some studies also suggest the property of magic shrooms/truffles can be useful for cancer patients. I would really want to hear other insights regarding this kind shroom and could possible be used as an alternative medicine Thanks

I'm curious about this as well.
From my research I've found that a dosage of cubensis types and other mushrooms such as lions mane, chage, cordycep type mushroom actually causes neurogenesis.
in short grows new nerves endings and promotes brain growth.
This is, in part, being attributed to the growth of the neocortex 200k years ago.
When we link this information together with the understanding that the gut has 500k neurons stored in it and the intestined is largely made of the same stuff that the brian is.
joining these ideas together there may be potential for psyilicibin cubensis low dosages etc may promote a regenerative effect in gut health. I dont know of any trials in this but would be intetrested to know about them.
PS people in the know prefer to call them Funghi, not shrooms (just in case you do speak to some one abut this)

Taking psychedelics to cure IBD is a long shot, but I appreciate your open mindedness haha. I take Kratom in small doses, and with my own experience it helps soothe the upset/painful stomach area, as well as an anti-diarrheal. They have a lottt of differnt forums out there regarding kratom for UC/Chrohns.. check it out if interested... https://www.naturalnewsblogs.com/reversing-ulcerative-colitis-crohns-disease-herbally/
