Since I have been on Remicade I have had numerous basal skin cancers removed. Just as fast as remove two cancer spots remove I have three more pop up.
Has anyone exerinced this as well?
Remicade has worked extremely well for my Crohn's but I am starting to get worried with this skin cancer rate is increasing.
My doctor said we might look at a different medication but did not specify what that would be yet. What other medicaiton options are there? I am afraid to change from Remicade because it has worked so well and my doctor said if I go off Remicade there is a chance I can never go back on it.

Hey Phil, no I have not changed medication but I am in the same boat. I kinda joke when I go in for my skin check it is my skin donation. Sad but true.

I have been Remicade for 5 years now and have been having issues with Basal cell and recently Squamas cell skin cancer.
I'm curious if you switched to a different drug because I'm getting tired having surgery to remove the cancers every time I see my Dermatologist
