6 mp

Thu, December 12, 2019 10:26 AM

I was diagnosed in 1984 with crohns colitis and have been treated with prednisone, then asacol, then when I flared again in 1998 ultimately after much experimentation with 6 mp.   For years I was on 25 mg but in 2016 the dr said my blood level was too low and upped it to 50.  Since then I have been sick pretty much nonstop with colds, bronchitis, occasional mild pneumonia and I'm losing patience.  I also do worry about the lymphoma risk, although I hear varyig versions of whether this risk has been lowered or upped.  Does ayone have the latest on the 6 mp situation?  There is also the question of whether the bronchitis is a form of Crohns.  I wil discuss next month with the doc but does anyone have any experience or answers?  Thx.
