Anyone looked into underlying immune deficiencies?

Mon, January 18, 2021 7:45 PM

Hi everyone,

I've been diagnosed with UC for nearly 10 years now (dx recently changed to Crohn's). Treatment has not worked well despite trying many of the gold standards. I recently had an infection that required an ileostomy, and the surgeon is looking to do a proctocolectomy. I started looking into the immune aspect of my issues, looking for some answer to explain all of this. I was recently diagnosed with Idiopathic CD4 Lymphocytopenia, with CD3 results looking strange as well. Basically I have several aspects of my immune system that appear suppressed for no well explained reason. I'm currently looking for specialists who will take my case on and take a deeper dive into this with me.

Has anyone else here been diagnosed with any immune deficiencies along with their IBD?
