Hello All, Glad to have found this forum for questions and support. FYI, I'm 64 and have had Crohn's since age 16. I've been on pretty much every drug at some point or another. I've just had my first dose of Stelara Jan 19. It does seem to be helping with my chronic diarrhea, which is great news. In just the last few days I'm noticing shortness of breath and extreme fatigue. Has anyone experienced these side effects? I've been home on medical leave since early December, returning to work tomorrow, of course!

Hi...hope your doing Ok on Stelara. Like you I'm new to it too. I've had Crohns / Colitis for 50 years without surgeries and have gone thru Remicade, Humira and Entyvio. After my loading dose infusion I felt better but was more fatigued. I have since had my first shot. Some of my symptoms are creeping back slowly. I'm not sure that I will have immediate relief. I'll soon have labs to measure drug level and antibody response. So...time will tell. Just hang in there. Good things come to those who wait....or so they say!
