I am on Remicade and it took a good 3-4 infusions for it to make a difference. This is my second time trying the drug and I think the first time around I didnt give it a chance so I tried it and after about 5 months or so it has made a remarkable difference! I know that with Crohns it is such a hard disease to control and what may work for me may not work for your son, that is the frustrating part!

Please keep your chin up and my advice (and I am NOT a doctor) would be to give it a bit more time

Different people respond differently to Remicade. If it's only the second infusion, don't panic. It might take a few more treatments for it to take effect. It took me several before I started noticing a difference. If he's having bad trouble, do call your GI doctor and let him or her know what's going on.
