Diet guidance

I am in the process of being diagnosed with Crohn’s (was first diagnosed with UC and put on Apriso) and feel lost as to what to eat these days. Four years ago I went gluten free because it causes severe headache/body aches that last for a week. Since the summer I’ve been trying to follow a candida diet because I have chronic yeast infections (which my GI feels may be due to my Hashimoto’s). I’m fortunate that I don’t have diahrrea (it was actually chronic constipation and my mother having colon cancer that got me to see the GI) but I do get sharp stabbing stomach pains. I also have considered doing an anti-inflammatory diet (which is very veggie and legume heavy) since I have so many issues with inflammation. But...if I’m in a flare (which I think I’m having now because of stomach pains) should I stick to only low fiber foods? My GI is in the process of hiring a nutritionist which I’m looking very forward to seeing but in the meantime any advice from fellow IBD sufferers would be greatly appreciated!
