Eating out seems IMPOSSIBLE- especially at events at stadiums/arenas. Am I alone in this?

Hi! Recently diagnosed with Crohn's here. I can’t go to sports events or concerts (anything in a stadium) anymore! I feel TRAPPED in there for hours without any food I can have!

Is this a familiar struggle? What do you do?

Yep, I can totally relate to this.  I’m in Australia so I may not know the specifics of stadium food in the states, but eating out is certainly an issue for me. I can’t stomach any processed foods or oily foods, and I’m guessing that’s the type of stadium food you’re referring to.
This also applies for me during train or plane journeys, music concerts, or just being in environments where I anticipate the food choices may be limited.
It’s something I prepare for if I’m going out, and I bring food with me.
If I’m in remission the variety is a bit bigger of what I can eat, but my go-to is either a bag of nuts (healthier ones like raw or activated nuts, as opposed to roasted and salted), or a Cliff bar.  If I’m in a flare I may bring a couple of bananas (or more likely stay home if my symptoms are bad)
