Info on Aloe AMP

Sun, June 19, 2011 10:28 AM

I have been doing research and I was wondering if anyone uses the Aloe AMP. Is is not drinking Aloe Juice or regualr supplements. This is specifically for IBD. I read it on line and saw several sites but wondering if this is legit and if it will interfere with my meds. I did fax a copy over to my GI so I am waiting to hear.

Also on some of the Probiotics I did notice that some of them have whey or milk. Are there some out there that has the S. boulardi without milk.

Alan when you tell people not to eat grains what does that mean. I am thinking everything has grains.

Thanks MJP

Thanks for that link, Alan. The scary part is that I had been drinking a cup of aloe juice every day since my last colonoscopy. Shame on me!!

I just learned that aloe contains mucilaginous polysaccharides, as well as it increases the release of TNF-alpha! So my question is simple: Is this pill form safe or is it giving us the same problem that drinking the stuff would give?

Anyone know?

Hi there,

I started Aloe AMP in October 2010. It is very expensive, but I completely stopped taking my Pentasa. I noticed a difference in about three weeks and have been able to eat/tolerate more foods than ever before. The only problem for me is that you stay on a dose of 9 pills per day for 30 days. 5 in the am and 4 in the pm on an empty stomach. As soon as I try to go down to the maintenance level of 3 pills per day my stomach starts to flare. When it does, I take extra aloe and it stops. So yes it does work, but now I am tied into this expensive ingredient for life!
