i've been experiencing a lot of diarrhea the last few days, though no other flare-up symptoms, so i think it's just something i'm eating, and not a flare.
i take bupropion for anxiety, and recently i noticed a completely undigested pill in my stool. (euro toilets have that weird poop shelf. good for reflecting on what you produce.) this is the first time i've seen this, but i wonder if it has been happening more often than i realize. is this something you've experienced? does it sound like a total fluke? i guess i'm just wondering what is the efficacy of my medication if it doesn't seem to be absorbed by my body? i still don't really understand the mechanics of nutrient absorption hindered by IBD.
i am not currently on any other medication, and i have been lucky to be able to manage flare-ups and general symptoms through diet, acupuncture, and guidance and regular bloodwork from my gp. i'm not going to be able to see her for another month, though.
