General Help and Advice

Wed, December 05, 2018 6:59 PM

Hi All,

New to the website, but not to Ulcerative Colitis.  I am looking for some general advice.  I was diagnosed in 2010 and understand the necessity of lower scopes.  I have had 4 scopes along with a flex sig in 8 years.  To me, that sounds extreme.  I am going through a minor flare right now and again the recommendation is a scope, even though I had a colonoscopy within a year of right now that was perfectly clean.  My concern is medical churning.  I don’t like thinking that way, but if I am exhibiting all the symptoms of a flare, why not prescribe to get this back into remission.

Any advice?

Thank you!
