Circulation and Muscle Inflammation - Crohn's Related?

Sat, April 13, 2019 4:32 PM

I don't know if my circulation problems are part of the "extra intestinal" symptoms often associated with Crohn's. But does anyone experience poor circulation? Not just to my hands and feet, but it feel like my body's core temperature cannot regulate properly. I am freezing and frigid in the winter months and overly hot in the summer. During the winter, I have to either workout or take a hot bath in the morning for my body to function properly (even my digestive system slows down when I am too cold). And in the winter I am so hot that I need to jump in a cool lake everyday to feel relief. I also find the cold water swins help reduce swelling and inflammation in the rest of my body....which leads me to my other odd symptoms. I experience dramatic face and muscle swelling all over my body (most noticeable in my legs)

I am not on any medcations right now as I am in remission. But does anyone have any kind of issues like these? Not sure if it's Crohn's related or if I have something else going on.

I was diagnosed in March 2019. I have had poor circulation in my hands and feet, mostly hands for about two years. My fingers turn purple and loose feeling/sensation in them often, regardless of temperature outside, cold or hot.  My husband read somewhere that it is a sign of a weakened immune system. Mine happened more frequently right before I was diagnosed.
