Hi I've just had a perianal absess that is common with UC and chrones witch I have . I have the spasms as well not sure if it was related to that but I know what you mean hard to sleep I find it difficult to tell if I need to pass wind or poo to be honest so that makes everything a bit awkward even when trying to sleep I wake up just to pass wind becuase I'm that used to rushing to the toilet that I usually ending up running to bath room then some times end up need ing to use the toilet in the night . Think it's just my body has got used to doing that but not nice when trying to sleep . Know that doest realy help with the problem but I feel your pain :)
