Diapers for bowel incontinence?

Wed, June 12, 2013 2:45 PM

I have frequent bowel incontinence, and use disposable diapers, especially when I travel.  Unfortunately, what I use is geared more toward urinary incontinence so it's not really doing the job for me. Can anyone suggest a product that is designed to provide adequate protection for those times when I don't quite make it to the bathroom?

I too have this issue, it is embarrassing and I have had to deal with it now for 8 years, and I am only 36.  I have contacted a lot of different companys.  Unfortunatly unless you are willing to wear the diapers that are like kids diapers with tape there is not much that do help.  The brand that I have found works best is Tena, along with clothing that is not tight in the buttock area and normally have draw strings, because if pants are tight in the behind it can cause leakage.  Tena is the one that recommended I try it that way and yes it does help some.
