You've got to laugh to keep from crying

There are some things that you just know when you have any kind of IBD... Like where the bathrooms are located in your side of town... :)

I realized that when I had the flare ups & tough moments with UC, I knew just about every bathroom in my area (where I lived, on my way to work, & around work) because that thing can hit you any time, and "Being Prepared" is a different thing for us as most of you may know.

Can you imagine as a fully grown adult when you're in the middle of a serious conversation/meeting and silently praying to God that you don't 'go' in your pants? Fun times, huh? Well, sometimes I look back at all I've been through with UC & think it could make for a very colorful book if we all combined our experiences.

Btw, God was good enough...99% of those prayers were answered. But there's this 1 time that I shall pretend I didn't mention...*laughing & crying*...(memories are made of this). I love God though; my faith in Him helped through such a tough, tough time. Without Him I couldn't have pulled this through.

I'm wishing you all the best if you're still struggling with it & sending you a message of hope & encouragement as well. Crohns/UC fights you, you fight back. Life is worth living.
