Just wondering...

Sorry to ask a very specific question but I was wondering how often people have bowel movements when their flair ups are under control? I'm a little embarrassed to even be posing the question but I need to get a picture of what others are going through so I can better understand what I'm going through in relation to them. Supposedly my Ulcerative Proctitis is supposed to be the mildest form of IBD, yet from age 19 until now (so for the better part of 5 years) I've barley found any complete relief from all my syptoms. Its always affecting me daily weather I've been on or off medication, changed my diet or not eating at all but I'm always in the bathroom more then normal. Is this the case for everyone? I know I won't live the life I used to but will I ever be more then just quick moments were I forget for a second about having to go to the bathroom or the fact that I'm sick?
