Pain

Tue, March 24, 2009 12:00 AM

Have anyone needed pain. A different pain. A sore arm or bloody knuckles. Just to take the pain from your belly area. Let me know if I am a weirdo.

Can you give me some help with meditation. Something that works for you or advice. It would be cool. ldobrava@gmail.com      Not worried about people. So that is why I have no problem giving my email out. Got to many weapons around me. So if you can help me in this. It would help. Thank you

Yes, there is a difference. A tooth ache sucks. The intestinal pain is even worse. A migraine can be gone with some pills. If you have Crohns or Colitias. You're screwed. You have to deal with the pain. Doc's will not give you any unless you demand it. Just my experience.

Dobrava,

When I first got diagnosed or am going through a flare up I tend to do the same as you.  I would pinch myself to the points where bruises would be visible.  After going through this for a couple of years now I no longer need to do this and have found better ways to manage my pain.  I talked to my G.I. and they actually prescribed pain meds during these times.

Be gentle with yourself, DoBrava. Our innards are hurting us bad enough as it is.

A warm shower often helps me with pain. I put on something cottony afterwards, and then lay down and relax or sleep. I get up feeling much better!

PS: Ask your doctor what s/he recommends to do for the pain....
