Gone for awhile

I will be offline for a bit, I am having my surgery on Thursday.  I am not feeling good about this, but the more I use my legs, and see the inflammation increase, the worse the pain gets.

I will be shopping tomorrow to keep everyone from human to critters fed and getting finances taken care of.  I have to be at the hospital at 9 a.m. Thursday and surgery is set for 11 a.m.  I truly hope it goes well.  I am hoping my recovery time will be much quicker then the gall bladder and can go to work on Monday.  (I have a ride if need be)

Take care everyone and see you when I can.  Be well.

I am so sorry you are in pain and I wish i could take the pain away! When I was in the hospital with that much pain they gave me morphine and dilotid (i think thats how you spell it) and it worked better than the percocet. See if they can give you something else. Good luck hun! xoxo

Thanks, Ash.

Actually, I am in the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life.  I thought my gall bladder surgery was bad, this is 10 times worse.  I'm popping percocet like candy and it isn't touching it.  I have an ice pack on it constantly.  I guess this is the price I pay for using my leg yesterday and not resting.

My doctor (MD) finally gave me a script for the osteoarthritis that is affecting all my other joints.  But he refused to release me next week to go back to work.  He said I need to be out for three weeks - that's three weeks of 1/2 pay.  We agreed that I would try and go back on the 22nd.

Please, take the pain away someone.  Please...............

I am soo happy to hear you are doing well!! The nausea might be from the pain killers, they gave me Zophran for the nausea and it works wonders!

Thank you.  :)

Surgery went well.  Took four stabs at getting the IV in, the last one took (first one hit a valve) and I was in tears from the pain.  But surgery took 1 hour and they removed carilage from the knee, reconnected a tendon and cleaned up my knee cap.

I'm sore.  LOL  Lots of pain killers but monitor that and hope to be back to work no later then next Tuesday.  Follow up with ortho doc in 10 days and we will see when the other one gets done.  :(

Alot of nausea, not sure if it is from the surgery or the normal routine with the Crohns but watching what I eat and resting alot.  Well, kinda sorta.  hehehehehe

Hope everyone is doing well.
