Oh how I despise hot weather! Give me a good 52 degree day, any day, and I would be a happy camper. It is 102 in my town here in Washington state and I have had diahrrea all day. Eating very, very little and drinking water like it is going out of style. Being on Prednisone adds to the discomfort, I am highly sensitive to the sun.
Wish for snow! Wish for snow!!!!!!!

Man I thought I was the only one with this problem . I can not handle the heat either. I'll be glad when winter gets here. My husband thinks I hang meat in the house cause I have it so cold. LOL

Everyone, stay out of Phoenix. It's 110 now and predicting more of the same for the next 2 weeks. Also, anyone traveling, if you've been in the hosp. withinn the last 6 to 9 months for your condition, I suggest you get a copy of your chart from the hosp. in case you need it. Even if you don't need it, it's some interesting reading. Marilyn

Pmedic - Virginia Mason Clinic in Seattle has an excellent staff. I go to a GI doctor in Gig Harbor which is part of a company based out of Tacoma.

I am in La. and coming to Seattle next Friday. Any relief in sight for the heat? I am leaving New Orleans to escape the stifling heat here. Guess I picked the wrong time to come! In case I need a GI when I am there, any recommendations?

I am in TX so I know heat. This is the first year that I have had a hard time with it. People used to call me the lizard because I LOVED the heat. Now it makes me sick to my stomach. Hang in there!

Sorry to hear that. We are having record lows this summer in Michigan. I have only had a AC on 3 times this year and that was just to cool down the house at night.
