anyone know how to donate unused meds?

Sun, October 18, 2009 9:37 AM

Hi. I seem to be one of those people who runs the gamut of meds. After being on nearly every drug known to man I am now trying remicade. My frustration is that I literally have unopened bottles of asacol, rowasa  and 6mp. I know how expensive these meds are.I hate to just throw them out.  Especially since I read posts about people needing them and not being able to afford them Does anyone know how to donate them to somoene that might need them .They are all sealed . Nothing wrong with them I just seem to not respond to them and I get a 2 month supply from my insurance . d

If you are fortunate enough to have a support group where you live, take them with you to the next meeting. Extra meds are always welcome at our meetings as someone is always taking whatever you're giving up.
