Hi, its me again with more problems. Along with these fistulas or abcesses whatever the may be around my anal/perinal area this morning I woke up feeling like inside of my legs hurt. I soaked in a bath and realized that the creases of my legs near the pubic area is very very tender and there are a little knot. don't know if it may be swollen lymphnode from infection??? And across the pubic area (where hair  grows) is swollen and very tender.  I also noticed that the (excuse my language don;t know how else to explain it) inside the lips of my vagina now has 4 abcesses or fistulas that are very painful. It seems like everyday it gets worse and worse. I was able to get my Lidocaine ointment yesterday it helps keep area numb for just a little while. Hopefully in a few days I can afford to get the Analpram HC cream that is 66.00!!!!! I can;t seem to get a dr to help me anytime soon. Has anyone ever experienced any of this????  Any type of advice or help will be greatly appreciated!! Thankds!!!

It sounds as though you need a referral to a colorectal surgeon.  My son 14 yrs old. (starting June 2008) had a fissure that became an abcess that turned into a  fistula. We tried everythiing for relief.  In December , 2008 he had surgery, a fistulectomy, that took care of the problem ( after the healing period ).

His abcess is what lead to his Crohn's diagnosis, so I am sure starting a regimen of Asacol and antibiotics also helped get him through.

Don't wait -- call your doctor's office and ask for a referral to a surgeon.  It sounds like you need more attention than medication.
