The flu and oscillococcinum

Mon, November 16, 2009 1:00 AM

Our son just came down with the flu (102.8 degree fever).  Since he can't take ibuprofen and tylenol is only doing a so-so job reducing the fever, while we wait for his pediatrician to open and request a tamiflu prescription we have been told about oscillococcinum as a holistic medicine to reduce fever and address flu like symptoms.  Those we know who have used it swear by it but their kids don't have crohn's.

Anyone here ever heard of it or tried it on themselves or a child with crohn's?
