So it has all been REALLY good for about a month or so... medication working well, I am SO normal it is amazing, I mean, I am eating pretty much anything- (not raw veggies yet, but cooked ones, some fruit-- you know-food).

I bought Fiber ONE bars--used to love them... well at 9 grams of fiber each, and I ate two yesterday because I was on the run and hungry-.....well, the result wasn't pretty. Needless to say, I will be more careful. Right now the goal is to get the gut to calm down.  My fault totally, and I am on clear liquids doing the apology thing to my gut-- it is as if my gut is an alien being and I never quite know what might offend!

Some foods are fine, but fiber must be in small doses for me.  I haven't tried corn yet, (except for planting it on FarmVille)-- which, by the way, helped me get through the rougher times.. my bathroom is not far from my computer!

Would love to try popcorn, but not that daring, and it is a food that I will overeat easily. But no complaints from me!!! Still much much better than I was. Hope you get your results soon... Keep me posted!

I feel your pain. I, too, am in remission and decided I deserved some corn on the cob last night. BAD idea. I had 3 trips to the bathroom this am, and have been nauseous and a bit crampy all day. I don't like corn enough to take this chance again, so it's now on my "No" list. Live and learn. Luckily, this is the first bad experience I've had since adding foods back to my diet. Patiently awaiting ultrasound results for upper abdominal pain as well, which may be the culprit. And I agree...our stomachs have minds of their own!

Simple set back......I'm know the lesson was learned.   Glad to hear you are back on the "gut friendly" wagon.

Be well
