So other than taking naps, slowing down, taking days off. How do other people handle the fatigue? GMT

how do u do it??? i have an energy ball who's 18 months and i cant keep up, right now i'm thinking daycare although its an additional expense we cant handle but i dont have the drive to keep up with him. because of my severity i'm a stayathome mom since i cant find the energy to be at work, do housework and be with my son at the end of the day. i thought i could handle family life with this disease but its added to the physical/mental stress we encounter with CD. i know he wont be a baby for much longer and i want to enjoy this time with him

It's awful. Husbands don't get it.

I recently found that drinking more water is helping. I also belong to a gym and funny thing, I feel okay when I am there. In my class I am pretty good. The hardest part is getting myself to the gym, but it is always worth it. I feel more like part of the human race when I am there.

Chronic fatigue is something I deal with on a daily basis.  I'm perpetually tired during the week and on the weekend, I tend to sleep a lot.  I wish I had more energy to do stuff.  I can handle only doing so much before I tire out.

I know exactely what you mean...I am always tired...Somtimes I get an energy spurt, but when I get off of work, all I want to do is relax in my recliner...I don't think that my husband understands...So that part is hard for me...I also don't think that the people that I work with understand either...Well, some of them do, but not all...Especially my boss...That is hard to deal with too...I am hoping that by the time summer comes things will be different...I am taking remicade every 8 weeks and it seems to help...Cause both of my children are in ball, and my daughter is in 4-H...I want to be there for them...Thank you for listening...God Bless....

That's how I deal with it.  I also try to drink a lot of water and eat frequent protein foods.
