Hello All -
I have been dealing with Chron's for over 20 years now and have been on Remicaid for 6 years. I now have a job in the retail world that requires me to lift, move boxes, and do a lot more walking than I ever had to do. I have been in this position for 5 months now and thought that the muscle aches and back ache would have let up by now. It definitely has not. I am also experiencing more joint pain than ever as well. I spoke with my doctor and didn't get much help or advice and am hoping that someone can offer something or is it something I just have to live with?
Thanks!

Hi there, I'm 57 and was diagnosed with crohns in 2007. I've been on remicade since June 08. They just doubled my remicade and now I fin that I tire much more easily and my joints ache much more and longer...at first I thought it was my age, but I'm pretty energetic with the exception of a week-end every few months where I need to just rest....I try to exercise with low impact free weights and ride my stationary bike....it helps the joints to be stretched in a "controlled" pace....hope you feel better...but they do say that joint pain is part of both crohns and remicade....right now I'm fighting a cough that I have had since late Jan....and it's because of the remicade...just hang in and try to bay yourself when you can!
