New job, apartment, and still always on the toilet.

I have had a full time job for about two months now, it's the first one I've ever had, not to mention the most I've worked since my surgery.  It's a low-activity but high-stress job.  It's easy to eat junk food there and get in unhealthy habits, I haven't been walking or anything that healthy since I started.  Not to mention I haven't seen a doctor in months, so I've run out of my Lomotil.
I also just moved in with my boyfriend, another high-stress activity.  My stomach hasn't had time to settle down in two months.  I'm taking metamucil daily and trying to eat things that would be constipating.  I will spend most of my life without a colon, so I want to get used to this now, but I can't seem to catch up with my bowels.  I'm embarrassed my boyfriend now has to see that I have accidents all over the toilet, use hemorrhoid wipes, and special ointments.  Also if I have accidents during the day I don't want him to see my dirty underwear, especially if he ends up having to do my laundry.
I ended up crying at work because of something tiny, but I think it's because I'm so stressed out about every thing.  On top of that, I can't get off the toilet.  I don't know what I can do.

I understand your feelings exactly.... I am currently in my first full time job and have had my share of sick days (you know the ones you look fine and healthy but need to call in sick).... and sadly even an accident at work. Perhaps seniors and babies are used to accidents but having one at work in professional clothing has to be the worst experience. Second only to having to wear a diaper to work at the age of 24.

I have recently started job hunting for a new job and the anxiety of having to deal with interviews... what if I get overwhelmed during the interview? My first thought is to ask where the bathroom is...

that being said the only advice I have for you is to try to limit what is on your plate, if there is anything in your situation that you can remove to take off the pressure do it. You mentioned your boyfriend, instead of worrying how he will take things ask him, dont worry about how he might think about this or that ask, explain and prepare him. Worried about laundry? Offer to handle your yourself, or do his (brownie points).

Hang in there do the best you can.Good luck.
