Starting a Support Group

Tue, April 09, 2013 5:11 PM

I was interested in starting an in person support group in Washington State.  There is only one meeting I can find using the locator, which is a long ways away and a time that will not work out with my schedule.  Instead of complaining about how I can't make it there, I would love to start a meeting.  How do I go about doing this?  Who do I contact?  How do I get the literature?  I have some great networking ablitites since I do work at 2 hospitals as a person that is highly involved in patient care/treatment.  Any advice would be helpful.  Thanks for your time,
