Hello, I have been living with ulcerative colitis for the last 10 years. It has been under control for the most part, however my liver enzymes (ast, alt, alkaline phospatase) have been elevated to very high levels for the last 9 months. I have done an ultrasound, hydascan, and mri which have all came back as normal. Just wondering if anyone else has had experienced elevated liver enzymes and UC? Thank you in advance!

I have recently this week been diagnosed with psc stage 2. I know eventually I will need a liver transplant. Does anyone have any insight on how quickly psc progressed for them. I am aware that it will be different for everyone. What symptoms should I be aware of once the time for a liver transplant is needed? Any past experiences, advice would be very much appreciated.

Thank you very much. I have been seeing a gastrointestinal dr., I will see him again tomorrow afternoon. He did mention psc, how did your doctors confirm that you had psc? I have been doing a lot reading on it and it sounds like it is difficult to diagnose. I have been feeling very fatigued and even mildly depressed, itching quite a bit, especially under the arms, loss of appetite, weight loss, diarrhea. What were your symptoms if you don't mind me asking?

I also experienced increased liver enzymes, which I don't think is something you need to worry about on its own, but I would ask your doctor about seeing a liver specialist because I have been diagnosed with PSC (pre-sclerosing cholangitis) which is inflammation of the liver resulting from such a thing.
I was diagnosed in October of 2020 with Ulcerative....
