My 56 year old brother is on medication and is in a manic episode

He was in bed for months and was trying one more med before surgery.  This med XELJANZ has relieved all symptoms but has caused him to become manic and dangerous.  He is threatening his family. He is completely unaware of his actions.  Wondering if anyone has had a similar situation?

Please call a mental health crisis hotline or crisis intervention program.
Also contact your brother’s doctor and let them know what is going on.  “Be specific” when you contact the doctor and crisis center, “He is threatening his family”
