More Outgoing.

Hi everyone. This year I have been diagnosed with UC. For the past few months, I have noticed that I am not as outgoing or have many interest. I want to be more outgoing and enjoy my life. Does anyone else experience this? I would appreciate some advice. Thanks.

Hey OP,

I've had UC for most of my life, so i understand your struggle. I think the important thing is to know your limits. I'm kind of really stubborn when it comes to my symptoms and i don't want themt o ever deterr me from doing what i love or hanging out with people, but sometimes i really do need to just rest instead. So i think it's good to let your body rest at home sometimes instead of going out, but it also helps your mental health to have fun and hang out with people and do thngs that you enjoy, so finding your limit and knowing when it's good to go out and when it's better to rest is really important. i would encourage you to work with that a bit more. and if you find that an activity you used to love doesn't pair well with your symtpoms, don't be discouraged, but rather try to find a medified version of that activity or something you can get involved in to replace that activity. I hope this all helps :)
