School with Symptoms

My colitis was so bad at the beginning of the year that I missed many classes, slowly but surely I dropped them one at a time. As of right now, I am enrolled in less than half my classes and next semester I'm transferring. I'm wondering if it would be more advisable to drop all my classes while I'm working and focus on recovery until I transfer in the spring.  Will transferring while I'm in recovery be too stressful, or will it be nice to have a fresh start?

Unfortunately there is no easy answer to this and if you keep thinking about it all the time then it will just stress you out more.

I know it is really hard, but just take a deep breath, a nice long bubble bath, and just keep telling yourself that things will work out in the end.

I have found that having a positive attitude does make things go better, which makes sense because flare-ups can be triggered and made worse by stress.

Set small goals that are easily attained each day and feel good about getting those things done.

I was diagnosed with Crohn's my junior year of high school 2000. I finished my B.S. in biochemistry with a minor in German and am now in the first year of my PhD studies at a top ten school for my field.

There were flare-ups along the way and a few crash courses on time management, but here I am and I know that I can do it, and you can too.
