i dont feel like people understand what it is to deal with for your whole life. i feel like i wont be able to get a boyfriend, i can barley make friends nowadays i dont know what to do. Also i happen to be heavy so people don't think i have crohn or not bad, but i do, and every day i feel worse.

The feeling of being alone is a terrible one... This huge world and feeling like there is noone who understands you it is a tough deal to go through, I have been there.  But have faith because you will find someone who loves you, I did, I believe there is someone out there for everyone!  And God is always with you so you are never alone... I do not know what your personal beliefs are but I know without God in my life I do not think I could make it as far as I have come today.  And for whomever says that only skinny people have crohns they are misinformed.  Many cases show siginificant weight loss, many cases do not.  I lost 40lbs when first diagnosed, but know many people from the hospital and grps that never lost one pound before, while, or after diagnosed... I know one women that gained weight.  Everyone is different. Hang in there!!! One thing I have learned with crohns is no one can tell you how you feel and if they try to you have to say "YOU DONT KNOW" lol Many have heard this from me

Hello!

I want you to know that you will find someone who will love you for who you are and despite your illness that person will choose to walk with you through the hard and dark times if hey really love you.

My boyfriend of one year has Ulcerative Colitis and at times he's wondered why I'd want to be with him. But I assure him that I love him and everything that comes with him.

I want to learn more about Crohns and Colitis to be a better support system for him and for other people like you....

Take care! I will be praying you get better....
Blessings

Hi Rosebud.

Princess Here, I want to let you Know that I had a very bad flareup last nov. I just started feel well enough to gettogeather with family and friends with the Holidays comeing you realy need to call freinds and family to come over if its easeir for you then again it good to get out of the house. you need to look forward to things that get you going. Make your own thing to look forward to. Family and Friend should understand you condition and if they truly don't you have the right to explain thing s Know I not saying have a pitty party. But if they are you true friends they will listen and have compasion for you and your Family will always Love you for who you are not for what illness you have.

positive thoughts and planning ahead'\

I feel the same way rosebud. I just found out I had chrones in june and I hate it when people act like chrones is not that serious when they have no idea how I feel everyday some days are better then others  but I'm still trying to get used to everything and no one understands. If you ever want to talk I am here which I'm sure you think is wierd since you don't know me but I would like to continue talking to someone who can relate to me and what I'm going through.
