Hey there readers....I'm just totally feeling sorry for myself. I was doing very well for a little over a month and I started with the diarhea, nausea, stomach cramps, etc. on Sunday. Today is Wednesday and I'm not better. I thought it was a bit of the "bug" my 4 year old had, she threw up about 6 times in 12 hours. But now I'm having a flare up. I started prednisone because right now I'm not on anything but now thinking I should go back on Entocort as a maintenance. AAGH! Sorry about rambling!!! Have a good one!

I had a rough Sunday as well, landing back in the ER. Thought my body could hang on until my scheduled appointment with my GI doc on Thursday, but apparently I was wrong!
Hang in there. I'm having a 'feeling sorry for myself' week as well - we will make it through!

I was just venting a bit and being able to do so on these boards does make me feel better. I'm sorry you're having a tough time.

Entocort is just a steroid that you're not supposed to take longer than 3 months though, isn't it? Azathioprine takes 3 months to work so that's why I was stuck on both of 'em at once before. But anyway! I'm not saying that falres don't suck, but I only go about two or three days without a flare owning me in the face. That isn't meant to make you feel bad, it's just that each flare eventually calms down, so hold on to that tought! It's going to settle down ^_^
