Telehealth IBD Psychotherapy Groups Available
A pilot program for people with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis
Are you living with IBD and want to learn coping skills from a mental health professional? A telehealth IBD psychotherapy group may be right for you.
Designed with scientifically supported treatments that aim to reduce stress, anxiety, inflammation, and flare frequency in people with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis.
Treatments include:
· Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
· Gut-directed hypnotherapy
Sessions are offered for 75 minutes weekly for a total of 8 weeks.

Beyond the CBT and gut-directed hypnotherapy, do the sessions also cover practical day-to-day strategies for things like managing fatigue, social situations, or work challenges that come with IBD? And are the groups tailored by age or disease severity, or is it more of a mixed setting?
