waking up from a routine colonoscopy and being told my your new GI we are cutting you open

I have had the same GI for over ten years and was officially diagnosed with crohns disease. Been on all sorts of medications , prednisone, remicade, Imuran. .and the list goes on. About two years ago I just didn't fell right but my GI would say your crohns seems to be ok it must be your IBS. I let this go on threw the summer and finally asked my family doctor to refer me to a new GI. So he had arranged a scope in October 2013, just a routine colonoscopy to see what was going on. I woke up inextreme pain and he came over to my and had mu husband and I knew there was something he had already marked the large and was prepping me for surgery. I ended up with 85% removed , spleen had to come out and was hospitalized for over a month. It has been just over a year and I still have the fear. My stools are so watery it is just a water explosion , don't won't to worry my husband and kids but looking to talk with someone about the reassurance. I am now back on prednisone and Imuran and taking humira shots once a week. I have my new GI And amazing surgeon to thank for my life as I was on death bed :-(
