Having surgery soon and I'm scared

I'm 20 years old and the past 7 months I have been trying to get to remission after a surgery I had in November. Since that first surgery I've had an absess turn to a bowel to skin fistula and now after two uninvasive procedures not working they say I have to have major surgery again. I've been super stressed and just want this to finally be behind me. All I do is sit around and try to heal and I'm ready to get back into action. They say patience is what it'll take but any words of wisdom or assurance would be nice. Please and

You'll get there. Try to stay positive (I know it sucks). I had surgery Feb 2015 and then again Nov 2015 to fix the first one. It seems like when you're finally making improvements something else shows up. I did find the second surgery (not fistula take down, just another resection and hernia repair) to be easier to recover from, especially because I knew what to expect. I hope you have a similar response. Good luck.
