I recently started using CBD oil with Thc for my crohns since nothing the doctors have given me works. I’m now trying all the different methods I can. Has anyone here used CBD oil ? If so, do you use cannabis or hemp? Dosages ? There are so many options.

I don't know what else to do for her, she has totally turned around with the problem we had with her getting ready for a walk, but she is still anxious when we take her to new places, that are indoors, (she has no problems with walking in new places) I took her to the vets to be weighed and then to the video store yesterday, and both places it was heavy panting and whining and pretty hard pulling on the leash, and it isn't like there was a lot of people there, we were the only ones in the vet office beside the woman behind the counter and only 3 people total was at the video store and we were nowhere near them. :frown2:

I have been trying to figure out why the change in her behavior (she never was this bad before) and the only thing I can think of is it started after she got her hips x-rayed, is it possible the anesthesia caused this, maybe that combined with the fact she went into heat 2 weeks later?

What type do you use? I've tried the blue CBD for the last 8 days but not doing anything for pain I don't think although has possibly helped a little with sleep.

I have ulcerative colitis and CBD is helpful. Burning and inflammation is reduced, I fall my food sensitivities are somewhat better on it. I find tinctures help a lot, but gummies are easier to consume. I have experienced good things with CBD oil. I now use it topically and found great results both with the topical and ingesting. Though I did notice when I would take too much internally, I did have diarrhea. Which is a side effect.
Now, people react differently, CBD oil reacts to everyone differently. For example you may be able to drink a whole beer and be fine, another person can just taste the beer taking a sip and be so drunk. Everyone's body chemistry is different, therefore your experience will be different from mine and possibly from others also.
CBD oil is not created equal. CBD oil DOES NOT contain the THC chemical which causes the "high" effect in which marijuana has. So, you will not get a "high effect."
CBD Oil is good for inflammation, anxiety, pain, restless sleep and even relief from cancer medications. My doctor personally encouraged me to take it, to help with pain and inflammation and it worked.
I recommend starting out small. A lower dosage than recommended and work up to the recommended dose, see how your body reacts to the CBD and go from there.

I too am interested in CBD oil as an alternative pain relief mechanism for Crohn's. I live in Oregon where it is legal both medicinally and recreationally, so no problem obtaining it. But I have no idea whether to try a vape pen, a liquid or food (CBD cookies?) or what. Maybe just apply it topically? I survived 4 years after diagnosis with just diet, enzymes, probiotics, etc, but recently have experienced terrible pains because I now have a partial bowel obstruction. I am on 30mg prednisone and am fearful that this begins a terrible cycle of drugs and surgery and drugs and more surgery, etc. I am hopeful some forum members will share experiences with CBD so we can all learn!
