Ostomy Support

Are there wound care experts or professionals that can offer consultations for the placement or even the engineering of a custom colostomy solution?

The ostomy is in an awkward location (upper abdomen), which in combination with the concave shape of the abdomen (due to previous surgeries) often compromises the seal on the colostomy.

Suregeons have referred us to wound care nurses who have tried a few different custom approaches with care, but, given actors and athletes live with ostomies, there must be avenues worth exploring that we do not know about yet.
